Wamego Recreation Complex
Right off Hwy 24, the Recreation Complex offers walking trails, tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields. Please check with the city for availability of ball fields and soccer fields, as a two-week notice is required to reserve fields. Baseball fields may only be used by Wamego Recreation Department programs and USD 320 interscholastic athletic events.
Rental Policies
Other fields are available to Wamego Civic Clubs, Non-Profit Organizations and Church groups for $10 an hour, plus $30 flat fee for field rental and preparation.
*Wamego residents and For-Profit organizations may rent a field for $15 an hour, plus $35 flat fee for field rental and preparation.
*All additional persons / businesses / organizations not previously mentioned may rent a field for $20 an hour, plus $45 flat fee for field rental and preparation.
*Anyone wishing to rent additional fields may do so at $5 a field, plus flat fees.
*Flat fees cover utilities including lights, water, scoreboards, and field preparation including dragging, marking/lining, changing base and pitching distances, and Diamond Dry.
*Prices are subject to change so call for most up-to-date information.
